Scientific Advisors

Matthew DeLisa, Ph.D., Assistant Professor , Cornell University’s School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, serves as Scientific Advisor to Vybion. His research interests focus on “new or improved protein machinery for solving problems in human health that cannot be solved using natural systems.” He is specifically interested in the central role of folding and post-translational modification of next-generation immunotherapeutic proteins in the Immunoglobulin Supergene family. These molecules are significant for their great clinical promise in a treating a range of human disorders. Dr. DeLisa’s work parallels and often informs our own research efforts. He and other Cornell faculty members have collaborated with Vybion on two recent NIH grants.
